According to Weatherzone this is the wettest February on record (since 1969). The cumulative rain chart is shown below. Up until the 10th we had received only 6 mm of rain all year. The current tally is up to 178mm.
The bulk of the rain has come in the last two days.
The rain was fairly steady at around 2-4 mm/hour with some heavy showers late on the 14th early in the 15th with peak rainfall rates over 15 minutes up tp 20-40 mm/hr.
